alas! what took me 2 days of planning on photoshop will take me weeks to make in Dreamweaver, or Flash (which i am completely illiterate in.. but Flash websites are funnnn!)
anyyyyways! I made a few templates with different themes, then chose this one to proceed with..here's a sneak peak :)
oooo.. i like that template, very classic yet simple ..
ReplyDeleteDreamweaver is pretty cool, very powerful but still simple enough to use.. iWeb strikes me sometimes as being so easy and you can really do good things in it.. but dreamweaver is the way to go..
btw, take it from me.. avoid putting time into making flash website.. you'll have to learn it, create it, master it.. they are fun, but the way the industry is moving, flash is no longer the "it" item.. i will spark conversation but flash won't work on a lot of mobile platforms and if it does work, it will work like a handicap.. and yes all iphones/ipod touches/ipads won't be able to access it..
HTML5 is the future.. build your website based on HTML and slowly integrate into HTML5.. it does everything flash was made to do..
aya i thought you had a mac ... use iweb and import your template. i have used it, mind you if you wanted animations its a little more complicated.

but i recommend that you use iweb to get a site up and running then if you strongly feel that you need to have a bigger and better site then work on dreamweaver ...

ReplyDeleteMaro and Asnan. I already have had schooling in Dreamweaver. so I would probably go with it. im not as pro as some of my friends, but im decent enough. and what i dont know.. Google can show me where to find it. so i suppose it shall be dreamweaver.
iWeb is not for Design students. seriously. haha.
so html and css it is :)
